I love the car building element. It is, generally, excellent. Lots of great detail and interesting options. The matching element is a necessary evil for me. It's not really skill based as the game will stop you from being able to complete a puzzle when it doesn't give what you need to complete it. You only have to click ads when you want to get extra lives though so that's a bonus.

Match 3, algorithm is designed to hook you then later make the levels stupid hard with not enough turns to force you to watch ad or buy coins to continue, your last turn will make the board miraculously fill with power ups to get you to watch advert or spend coins or buy coins to play on. If you do spend any money it's like the game learns you are willing to do it and makes it nearly impossible to beat harder levels until you do spend the money, it's a rip. Not worth it really.

There should be options to turn off the tutorial and other prompts. 30 mins into the game you still can't go 5 seconds without being interrupted by unnecessary instructions and being forced to make whatever move the game wants you to make. In other words, you dont get to play this game. Waste of time and insanely poor gameplay.

They have run out of levels to play several times (fewer than 2000!) which resulted in playing "remix" levels while waiting for more levels so that I could finish upgrading the car. And each time they run out of levels and you get to play the remix levels...the same ones. Again. Meanwhile, what started as a pretty interesting and involved story has fizzled out almost completely. There has been hardly any story progression over the course of the last several cars. What a letdown!

It's a really good game to pass the time, story line does get interesting as the game goes on. But there is a couple of issues that could do with improving. The coins are pretty poor when passing levels, and the points could be improved when passing the normal and harder levels. If i am out of moves, it should give you more moves if watching an advert instead of 2 moves. That hardly gets me anywhere.

I've progressed through the lwvels without ANY forced ads (currently on the Bronco), adding an extra life or move is 100% optional, and is so appreciated. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars, much like a lot of reviews state, is that some of the levels are INCREDIBLY hard (sometimes without labeling) and the amount of wrenches required in the later levels are a bit tedious/take several levels to complete, which tends to be a drag on top of the difficulty spike. Overall a highly recommended game!

Cool cars but some of the choices! I understand that they can only have so many choices when customizing cars, but some accessories need the option of "none." I don't want a roof rack - not a choice. And does every car need a roll cage or a spoiler? Who puts a spoiler on a '57 Chevy Bel Air? - Also: after the Stingray there are too many hard levels (most not even marked as hard). You're lucky to get more than one thing done on a car before running out of lives. Some levels take days to complete.

Uninstalled due to game getting too stingy with rewards. This game started off really cool and generous. I'm 5 cars in now and it's much less fun. Way more ads, more "expensive" options, less visual impact on choices, unable to complete match levels without using all my boons. I keep closing the game out of frustration and boredom because the matching part is such a boring drag. Finally had enough.

Fun at first, becomes a tedious slog. This is a basic match 3, but the goal is to break boxes or other gimmicks that get more tedious as you progress. I got to level 355, and seeing that it's a hard level when even normal levels can take up 2-8 lives has made me give up on this game. You're given a limited number of moves but random pieces. I like the customization and the story but it can take 3-5 levels to get enough points for a part.

Interesting mix of two popular gaming mechanics. A match 3 puzzler and a Car sim game. it must be hard to make a match 3 puzzler game in 2025 and to make it stand out, especially up against the likes of match 3 kings like Puzzle Quest, but Matchcreek Motors has managed that, with every level being different and each level being significantly harder, it's actually a very decent game. There are microtransactions that are not pushed on you too as they're not needed. a top puzzler game so far.

Disappointed! Started off well, storyline was entertaining but odd, Max never answered anyone who spoke to him. However, every car you customise has more and more steps and the steps cost more and more. So most of your time is spent matching blocks to earn spanners, then on the over chatty workers (lots of skipping), and finally you get to customise. I say customise the choices are limited and often questionable. Uninstalling as getting bored, but had the potential to be fun.
